The Region

The cradle of summer.

No sea has been sailed longer or loved more than the Mediterranean. From the whitewashed islands of Greece to the glamour of the Côte d’Azur, the wild beauty of Sardinia and the golden beaches of the Balearics, it offers an extraordinary range within warm, reliable waters. Summers are long and hot, the food and culture are the finest in the world, and a private crewed catamaran lets you move between fishing villages, chic harbours and hidden coves at your own pace — the most refined way to spend a Mediterranean summer.

Many of our crewed catamarans make the Mediterranean their summer home, ready to show you its coastlines and islands from the deck.

Mediterranean Yacht Charters

A crewed catamaran is the most refined way to experience the Mediterranean. Its space and stability suit the long, warm days; its shallow draft opens up coves and harbours the bigger yachts cannot reach; and a professional crew handles everything — the sailing, the cooking, the local knowledge of which village, which restaurant, which anchorage. You simply enjoy the summer.

Whether you dream of the Greek islands, the Côte d’Azur or the Balearics, our Mediterranean fleet pairs you with the right yacht and crew for your party and your season.

Mediterranean Yacht Charter Highlights

Mediterranean offers some of the most rewarding sailing in the world — extraordinary range, warm waters and coastlines steeped in history.

From Santorini’s caldera to the green calm of the Ionian — the Mediterranean’s most beloved island sailing.

St-Tropez, Cannes and the glamorous anchorages of the French Riviera, with Monaco a short sail away.

Wild, fragrant Corsica and Sardinia’s Costa Smeralda — turquoise water and dramatic granite coastlines.

Ibiza’s glamour, Formentera’s beaches and the quiet coves of Menorca — Spain’s island playground.

Three thousand years of history and the finest food in the world, all within reach of the anchor.

Where to Sail in the Mediterranean

Each cruising ground suits a different trip and season. A quick guide to choosing — your team will tailor the detail.

Welcome aboard in Cannes, then a short hop to Lérins. Anchor off Sainte-Marguerite for a first swim, then a quiet evening at anchor.

A morning sail to St-Tropez. Lunch at Club 55 on Pampelonne, evening ashore in the old port.

An overnight passage to Corsica. Wake to the citadel of Calvi rising at dawn.

A long sail down Corsica’s wild west coast. Bonifacio’s cliffs and citadel make for a dramatic afternoon arrival.

Cross the strait into Italian waters. Anchor at Spargi or Budelli for a turquoise afternoon swim.

Move through the archipelago to Caprera. Cala Coticcio for the final swim of the trip.

A relaxed closing passage to the Costa Smeralda. Disembark in Porto Cervo with a parting brunch on board.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Mediterranean season runs May to October. July and August are hottest, busiest and liveliest; June and September offer the best balance of warm weather, calmer seas and fewer crowds. May and October are quieter and cooler, ideal for those who prefer serenity.

It depends on your party and taste. Greece is unmatched for island-hopping and variety; France for glamour and short, easy hops; Italy for la dolce vita and dramatic coastlines; Spain’s Balearics for beaches and buzz. Our team will match you to the right ground and season.

Very much so. Warm, calm summer seas, short distances and endless things to do ashore make the Mediterranean excellent for families. The Ionian in Greece and the sheltered coves of Sardinia and the Balearics are particularly family-friendly.

Generally warm and pleasant, with lighter winds than the trade-wind Caribbean. Conditions vary by ground — the Greek Cyclades can be windy in summer (the meltemi), while the western Mediterranean is usually gentler. Your crew handles it all.

No. All our Mediterranean catamarans are fully crewed, with an experienced skipper and crew handling everything. You simply relax and enjoy the summer.

For July and August, the best yachts and crews are reserved months ahead — often the previous autumn. June and September have more availability. We recommend enquiring early, and our team can advise on the best options for your dates.
